Swedish R&B has been competent for a very long time, but it's content has mostly been about naked souls and a filosophical dept. Now Hani steps in and replaces that dept, like the missing link between in the current swedish R&B scene, Hani´s debut cd is a welcome detour from the usual scenarios laid down by his contemporaries.

The 23 years old singer Hani Alwani is born and raised in Uppsala (Sweden) but has his roots in Syria. When Hani was just 11 years old he started breakdancing and were soon competing all over Sweden, but 9 years later one of his friends asked him to sing a chorus in a song. This became the turningpoint and the beggining for his career as an artist. His self released debutsingle "Lady" was released in 2005 which took him to a higher level in his music career, it paved the way for him , as he shared stages with artists such as Massari and Horace Brown.

With the newly hot release of "By your side" , 2008 is going to be a big year for this twenty four year old budding Swedish star who is currently the nr 1 R&B and Soul artist in sweden that's unsigned
